Pierre

Welcome to Pierre-Alain Grand

Kilkenny Crest LLC feels very fortunate to have attracted Pierre-Alain Grand to head our show team.  Pierre grew up in France where he competed for three consecutive years in the French Junior Championships (1998 - 2000).  We are very excited that while still in Europe he obtained his certified trainer license (BEES1), as for the first time Kilkenny Crest will begin to offer limited training opportunities for serios riding students.  Pierre not only is a certified trainer, but he is fluent in three languages - French,German and English - and can teach in all three of these languages!

Because Pierre has trained and ridden in several European countries, Kilkenny Crest now has access to a vast network throughout Europe. Pierre has worked with numberous leading riders including Herve Godignon, Romain Bourdoncle, Manfred Marschall, Armin Uebelhard, Pius Schwizer, Nicklaus Rutschi, and Dehlia Ouevray.  Pierre has set high goals for himself which are consistent with the direction of Kilkenny Crest, LLC.  He has experience starting and riding young horses as well as iding at the Grand Prix level.  But best of all, Kilkenny Crest horses LOVE him!

Kilkenny Crest will continue to work with Will and Nicki Simpson as our young horses develop.  We have had such a good time watching them develop Kilkenny Wallis and Kilkenny Achilles Z, not to mention how fun it was to watch Nicki and Kilkenny Rindo in Europe!!!

Our show team also has two other members.  Jessie Daniels heads up the team that will travel to shows to make sure that they are getting the best possible care with every horses' needs in mind both at home and on the road.  She comes with a lot of practical experience as well as an AAS in Animal Technology and Horse Management and also completed the Kentucky Equine Management Program.

Natalie Fischer is spending the year with us and is from Germany.  She comes with a great deal of experience - especially with starting and riding young horses. She will work closely with Jessie in the care and training of the young horses.
